Storage Rentals

Renting a storage unit from Fairlane Storage creates a landlord-tenant relationship under applicable Alabama law. You are responsible for the monthly rental fee for your unit, payable in advance. Rent is due on the first day of each billing cycle. Late fees may apply to overdue balances as permitted by law.

Online Rentals & Payments

You may rent a unit and pay your bill online through our website. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or completing a rental. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

What You May Store

You agree not to store any of the following items:

• Hazardous, toxic, flammable, or explosive materials.
• Illegal substances or stolen property.
• Perishable food or live animals.
• Unregistered or uninsured vehicles (for boat & RV storage).
• Any item prohibited by local, state, or federal law.

We reserve the right to refuse rental or require removal of any prohibited item.

Access & Security

Fairlane Storage provides 24-hour access to your unit. You are responsible for keeping your unit locked and for the security of your access code or key. We provide onsite security and digital video surveillance, but we are not an insurer of your stored property.

Insurance & Liability

You are responsible for insuring your stored property. Fairlane Storage does not provide insurance for your belongings and is not liable for loss or damage to your property except to the extent required by applicable Alabama self-storage law. We strongly recommend obtaining adequate insurance coverage.

Default & Lien Rights

If you fail to pay rent when due, we may exercise our lien rights and other remedies under the Alabama Self-Service Storage Facility Act, including denial of access, sale of stored property, and recovery of unpaid rent and related costs.

SMS Terms & Text Messaging

By providing your mobile number and opting in to SMS, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Fairlane Storage about your inquiry and account. The following terms apply:

• Program name: Fairlane Storage customer and account messaging.
• Message types: rental confirmations, access details, billing and payment reminders, payment confirmations, and customer-support replies.
• Opt-in method: enter your mobile number on our contact form and check the SMS consent box. Consent is optional and not required to rent a unit or submit an inquiry.
• Message frequency: varies based on your interactions and account activity, typically no more than a few messages per month.
• Message & data rates may apply: standard carrier rates apply; check with your carrier for details.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You may also opt out by calling (251) 422-8437.
• Help: reply HELP at any time for assistance, including opt-out instructions.
• Support contact: for help with SMS, call us at (251) 422-8437 or reach us through our contact form.
• Carriers: Fairlane Storage is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and other major U.S. wireless carriers, subject to change.

We do not share or sell your mobile number or SMS opt-in data to third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile number and SMS consent are used solely by Fairlane Storage to deliver the messages described above and to respond to your inquiries.

Website Use

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to disrupt its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or misuse any content. All content on this website is the property of Fairlane LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

Pricing & Promotions

Unit prices and promotions, including the 50% off your second month offer, are subject to availability and may change without notice. "Starting at" prices reflect the lowest available rate for a given unit size and type.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Baldwin County, Alabama.
